Groundbreaking Ceremony
held for Pamida Store
The new Pamida facility will be a 32,880 square foot store with a pharmacy featuring a drive-through window. The store is scheduled to be completed in November 2007.
"We are thrilled to be breaking ground on our new store, and becoming part of the community in Ainsworth," says Jim Larson, vice president of property development for Pamida. "Pamida is committed to being a valuable corporate citizen in the communities we call home. In addition to our corporate mission of providing great selection, quality, and value to our customers, we are also dedicated to becoming a true partner to our neighbors. We look forward to getting to know the people of Ainsworth."
As part of the development of the new Pamida store, the company has purchased Link Pharmacy, a local Ainsworth pharmacy. "The Link Pharmacy team is a welcome addition to the Pamida family," said Larson. "The pharmacy business represents a great vehicle for growth for Pamida, and we are excited to be adding another pharmacy to our operations. We are eager to start building our relationship with Tim and Michelle Sinsel and their team and the local Ainsworth community."
The Ainsworth Pamida is one of thirteen new store openings planned for the company this year.
